3D printing?

3D printing is a manufacturing technique that is used to produce parts by building up layers of material. Among the many technologies that exist today, the most well-known and widely used by private individuals and manufacturers is fused deposition modelling (FDM), which is used to manufacture plastic parts. This is one of the solutions now used by our teams to produce 3D spare parts.

What type of parts are produced using 3D printing?

Production methods now allow us to make non-food plastic parts, even those with complex forms.

When I make a purchase, how can I tell if a part has been 3D printed?

The product sheets for 3D parts are marked with a 3D logo so that you can identify them more easily.

Is a 3D part the same quality as the original part? Is it reliable?

All of our 3D parts go through an approval process. We check their functionality and ensure that they comply with our quality charter. This test phase ensures that your product will work perfectly again.

Does a 3D part come with a warranty?

Yes, a 3D part has a two-year warranty, like all the spare parts sold on our website.

Does a 3D part look exactly the same as the original part?

The 3D part will look different: it is usually black or white and has a different texture.

What are 3D parts made from?

At the moment, 3D parts can be made from three different plastics, depending on their intended use:
  • Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene: ABS
  • Polypropylene: PP
  • Glass-fibre reinforced polyamide: PA+GF

Where are 3D parts manufactured?

Our 3D parts are manufactured on the SEB INTERNATIONAL SERVICES logistics platform at Faucogney-et-la-Mer in France, which distributes all of our spare parts and accessories.
